Terms & Conditions

Bin Butler

Welcome to Bin Butler (“Bin Butler LLC,” “Apex Sanitation LLC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (www.MIBinButler.com) and our residential and commercial services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

Bin Butler offers the following services:

  • Residential Services:

    • Transporting trash and recycling bins from their resting location to their pick-up location as defined by the local government and back to their resting location on or on the day before of the scheduled pickup day (pickup days are defined by the local government and/or trash service)

    • Breaking down boxes and packaging for disposal.

    • Moving bagged yard waste (prepared according to local government and/or local waste disposal institution) to the curb on pickup day.

    • Moving bulk waste (prepared according to local government and/or local waste disposal institution) to the curb on pickup day.

  • Commercial Services:

    • Valet trash pickup on day(s) agreed upon by Bin Butler and commercial clients.

    • Recycling pickup on day(s) agreed upon by Bin Butler and commercial clients..

    • Box and packaging breakdown on day(s) agreed upon by Bin Butler and commercial clients.

Important:

  • Yard waste and bulk waste must already be outside and properly prepared before our team can move them.

  • We do not enter residences, garages, vehicles, private indoor spaces, etcetera for any residential service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services and have the authority to enter into this agreement.

3. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure timely service, you agree to:

  • Provide clear, safe, and unobstructed access to bins, yard waste, or bulk waste.

  • Ensure that all waste materials comply with city, county, and state disposal regulations. If any waste, recycling, etc is not picked up by the local municipality we will transfer that waste, recycling, etc back to its resting location.

  • Notify us in advance of any service cancellations or schedule changes.

We are not responsible for missed pickups caused by blocked access, improper preparation, or failure to follow city regulations. We are also not responsible for trash or recycling that ends up dispersed outside of the bins do to acts of God (i.e. winds, storms, etc), vandalism, animals, activities of any other party not excluding the local municipality, etc. 

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment for services is due according to the pricing plan agreed upon at sign-up or as invoiced.

  • We may suspend or terminate service for non-payment.

  • All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider.

  • We may suspend or terminate service if we deem the environment or situation to be unsafe for our staff.

  • For those on a subscription plan, you will be billed monthly on the same day each month that you signed up for the service originally.

5. Scheduling and Access​

  • Service schedules are based on your local city trash collection days and may be affected by holidays or weather events.

  • If the service is purchased on the day the local municipality is scheduled to pick up the trash and recycling, service will start on the next scheduled pickup day as determined by the local municipality. 

  • If we cannot access your bins due to locked gates, vehicles, pets, or other obstructions, we may charge for the missed service.

  • Only items outside of the residence will be transferred as it refers to bulk or yard waist. We will not enter the residence (included garages, vehicles, etc) for any reason.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Residential customers may cancel recurring monthly subscription services at any point. If cancelled before service payment term ends for that month, we will finish the remainder of the services for that month unless specified by customer. 

  • Cancellation of services for our Commercial customers are subject to the terms and conditions of the contract.

  • Refunds, if applicable, are at the discretion of Bin Butler and may be prorated.

  • Annual plans are billed upfront at a discounted rate and are non-refundable once service begins. Customers may cancel at any time to prevent automatic renewal at the end of their 12-month term, but no partial or prorated refunds will be issued for unused months. The annual option is designed to offer long-term savings and service stability, and this policy ensures consistent scheduling and pricing for all customers.

  • Customers with an active plan may transfer their Bin Butler service to a new address within our current service area at no additional cost. One free transfer of service per year at no additional cost. To process a transfer, please contact us at least 7 days before your next scheduled pickup. Service transfers outside our service area are not available, and no refunds will be issued for unused portions of prepaid plans. Additional services transfers are subject to a fee.
     

7. Liability and Limitations

  • Bin Butler is not responsible for damage caused by normal wear and tear to bins, bags, or waste containers during transport.

  • We are not liable for damage to property caused by factors outside our control (e.g., city trucks, weather, animals).

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service that gave rise to the claim.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use our services to dispose of hazardous, illegal, or prohibited materials, including but not limited to:

  • Chemicals, paint, oil, or fuel

  • Medical waste or sharps

  • Electronics or batteries not allowed by city pickup

  • Construction debris outside city rules

  • Anything prohibited by government rules.

9. Service Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services with reasonable notice.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend service for violations of these Terms, unsafe conditions, or missed payments.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on www.MIBinButler.com (logos, text, images) is owned by Bin Butler LLC and may not be used without our written permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal, State, City, Township, etc that the customers service is being performed. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts that the customers service is being performed.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
